Fall is making it's presence known this weekend with some seriously cool temps. Sunday Steve and I plan to stake out a spot along the race route to cheer on the amazing runners in the Chicago Marathon. They're such an inspiration, always making me think, heck, I can do it too! (But then I remember that I don't want to)

• Jayson Home & Garden is holding their Fall Flea this weekend (actually, it started this morning). Tons of vintage furniture and decor will be on sale (and no one knows amazing vintage decor like Jayson Home does).
• Decades, the biggest name in luxury consignment, is setting up shop in 900 North shops this weekend. Head to the Space 519 shop Saturday or Sunday and hunt for (or just admire) some gently used Chanel or Louboutin.
• Shops in the West Town neighborhood celebrate art, fashion and music with the second annual West Town Art Walk. Chicago artists are showcased in the shops along Chicago Avenue (and be sure to hit the amazing Dove Tail for vintage duds and jewelry by local designers).
• Cool weather always makes me crave a warm, cozy meal, and it's hard to beat a good grilled cheese with tomato soup! This recipe looks delicious and would look even better in these new soup bowls we got as a wedding gift.
A big thanks to everyone for your kind words about our wedding photos, it was so fun to look back on those moments a month later! Soon I will share our honeymoon photos - prepare to be jealous (I will be, even though I lived it).
