A Dash of Sequins

For a night out last week, Steve and I decided to do it up a little more than usual, so I took this sequin mini out of hiding. I kept the look simple with a black cap sleeved tee and a nude heel. I also kept the jewelry to a minimum with this long simple gold bar necklace (more on that tomorrow) and my gold bangles. A simple look, but souped up with a little sparkle.

Who says sequins has to be reserved for special occasions? I saw this piece at Eskell, and sure it's a size large, but the more sparkle the merrier! Instead of keeping those bright, shiny pieces tucked away, I say throw them on with something as simple as a pair of jeans and rock it.

Everyday Sequins

What better way to brighten up a mid-winter look than with some sparkle! Sequins shouldn't be reserved for fancy affairs, add a jacket to a simple jeans and t-shirt, like I'm doing here, or don a shimmering skirt with some tights and a cozy sweater.
