It takes a little creativity to see potential in some vintage finds. On a recent trip to a rummage sale, where hoards of women were scouring the accessories area for scarves, belts, gloves, and hats, in a lonely corner sat a box of chain belts and accessories. Dismissed as gaudy or outdated by some, I pictured these bright gold tones over my mostly muted wardrobe, adding a statement piece to some casual basics. And at $2 a pop, there's not much to loose if they did turn out to be just cheap-looking chains.
