It's almost cool enough out to wear a wool coat, but our window to wear the autumn jackets and trench coats is so small, I took the opportunity. I love this coat because it drapes so pretty in front — which doesn't translate very well in photos — and is excellent for wrapping around when it gets chilly. I also busted out suede shoes for the first time in a long time. Davis Miller opened a few years ago in Winnetka and they always have a great collection of designer consignment, always in near perfect condition. I found these Louboutins in my size and in the perfect mid-height wedge so they're not too killer to wear to work. The shop also carries new clothing and has a fantastic vintage jewelry case.
